Exciting news ripples through IUB as “IUB BongoMarine” proudly announces our selection for the prestigious SAUVC 2024 competition (Singapore Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Challenge)! 
We are overjoyed to be the sole representatives of Bangladesh in this global showdown of innovation and underwater technology.
Our Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), affectionately named BongoMarine, stands as a testament to precision, innovation, and the vibrant spirit of Bangladesh. We faced some tough times because good waterproof robot parts were hard to find. But using locally available parts and rapid prototyping technology like 3d printing and cnc machining we have made our “IUB BongoMarine 1.0”.IUB BongoMarine thrives on a dynamic synergy of academic guidance with professional expertise. Led by experienced supervisors Dr. Saadia Binte Alam (Associate Professor, Head of CSE Dept.), Dr. Mahady Hasan (Associate Professor, CSE) and Dr. Mohammad Faisal Uddin (Associate Professor, CSE), Team Director Md Hasibur Rahman (Adjunct Faculty, CSE), Noor-E Sadman (Adjunct Faculty, CSE), and Md Fayed Al Monir(Mentor, CSE) provided crucial direction and expertise. Alongside the professionals, our skillful students Tahfizul Hasan Zihan and Rahat Hasan Shihab are leading the team by making strategic and technical decisions. Hana Sultan Chowdhury’s system integration and Md. Jahid Hasan Rovin’s computer vision mastery kept our AUV on the right track. Mukut Protim Memo, Md. Abdun Fattah Lam, and Md. Faizul Hussain stood as a pillar of dedication to the crew. Get ready to witness the spirit of Bangladesh making waves on the international stage!
