Primary objective of Software Production economics and productivity is to set-up a learning and
research hub for the students and the faculty of IUB and the wider community. This track have all the
basic conveniences to be qualified as a core place for research. Our aim is to create a nurturing environment for innovation, creative thinking and study the software engineering discipline as well as areas that impact the way software is developed, maintained and managed. We will allow developing competencies within knowledge and skills concerning developing business plans for the construction of computer software, performance requirements specification, software design in accordance with the agreed methodology.
One of the main purposes of this research track is to investigate the limitations of the current industry and address those issues so that the companies can grow economically and become sustainable entities.
This research track is a self-sustaining entity by generating sufficient funds through different grants and sponsorships offered by various business ventures and Industry collaborations and consultancy.
